From the city center use the tram (street car) 11 or 15 to Bucheggplatz or tram 7, 9, 10 or 14 to Milchbuck and take bus 69 to ETH Hönggerberg. Or take the S-Bahn (train) from Zürich Hauptbahnhof to Örlikon or Altstetten and take bus 80 to ETH Hönggerberg. Travelling time is about 30 to 45 minutes from the city center.
Tickets need to be purchased before using any public transport. In order to travel in Zürich, a ticket is needed (zone 10). A return ticket allows travelling for 24 hours on all public transport (trains, buses, trams, ships) within Zürich. Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines at any station.
